Margie's Birthday Present

Did I show you the present I made for my friend, Margie? I love making homemade presents for my friends because I think about them, their favorite colors, their favorite things, and then I incorporate them somehow into the style and color of the gift I decide to make.

This note book and pen set was made with the Sale-a-bration stamp set and DS paper called Polka Dot Punches (stamp set) and Delicate Dots(DS paper). I used Apricot Appeal 1/4" grosgrain ribbon and I cut out the heart on Sahara Sand Paper and embossed it with clear embossing powder to make the dots "pop". I embellished the heart with a Baja Breeze button from "Button Bouquet" and hemp twine. The pen is an RSVP by pentel and I took the writing off of it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and rolled up a piece of the Delicate Dots DS paper and put it inside the pen to make it coordinate with the note pad. And Voila!

Valentine's Day Bookmarks

These are the bookmarks that we made at Winterfest for the make and take. These would be great for making at a Valentine's Day party in your child's classroom. Materials used: Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip, White Card stock, Riding Hood Red Classic Ink and ribbon, 1/4" and 1/8" circle punches, Pink Pirouette Ribbon. Winterfest!

So here's me selling my stuff at Winterfest. My boys got in on it, too, and sold their used Match Box cars. It was a great experience and it inspired me to sell my stuff on Etsy, a website for selling and buying everything hand made. Check it out at stampingmaryann.etsy.com.

Valentine's Day Mini Note Cards

I'm selling these mini notecards at my new shop on etsy 5 for $6.50. It you didn't know, Etsy is a website where you can sell your homemade or vintage goods. These cards are 3" X 3" and come with envelopes. They're all handmade with love. The inside is blank so you can write your own sentiment. These are great for co-workers, classmates or anyone else you want to show your appreciation for at Valentine's Day.

I found this card while preparing for winterfest. It was one of the first cards I ever made. Can you tell??? I even attempted printing it myself. Yikes. Hopefully spring will be here soon.
